Car vs House 9-15-2009 @ 2047 Central Drive North

Monday night the East Meadow Fire Department was alerted to an auto accident with an auto into a house at 2047 Central Drive North. Arriving units found an auto had left the road, taken out a street light pole, traveled over the front lawn before striking the front of an attached garage. The impact cave in the front corner and dislodged the wall from the foundation. Technical Rescue Teams from North Bellmore and Bethpage responded to the scene and Bethpage handled the front of the dwelling while North Bellmore took care of the exposure two wall. The driver of the auto refused medical attention and sat in a plastic lawn chair the shole time satching the operation.
